That being said, when it comes to entry level guns you will find that there is very little about the Azodin Kaos 2 to be upset about. While there is nothing particularly special about this marker, you can be sure that it will work. Reliability is an incredibly important feature in all paintball guns, but especially for entry level markers. The last thing you want on your first match is to have a marker malfunction.

Thankfully, you do not need to worry about that happening when you purchase the Azodin Kaos 2 paintball marker. This is a paintball gun that you can just slap a tank and a hopper on and get down to some balling.

In total there are only six rubber O-rings which include a single moving O-ring. This conservative use of seals and moving parts means that the Kaos 2 is much less prone to springing gas leaks or having other firing issues. 

Simplicity often brings with it the benefit of reliability, and there is no better example of this than the simple pop valve that the Azodin Kaos 2 implements.

Luckily, if you do have problems with the Azodin Kaos 2 paintball gun while in the field, taking it apart and putting it back together is pure child’s play.

The Kaos 2 outperforms the classic Tippmann models in this regard, as both the 98 Custom and the Cronus are known for being rather tricky and time-consuming to take apart.

So How Does It Fire in the Field?

If you are thinking of making the Azodin Kaos 2 one of your first paintball guns then we can take it for granted that you are an entry-level player.

While that does not necessarily mean that you are not as fit as other players, you will find yourself tiring out as your body gets used to the specific exertions that this type of physical activity demands.

You might be able to run seven miles in forty minutes, but are you used to sprinting from cover to cover while wearing thick clothes, protective equipment, and lugging a marker full of paintballs? Probably not.

As such, you will be glad to know that the Azodin Kaos 2 is light, so you won’t tire out as quickly as you might if you were lugging around a Tippmann, for example.

I’m quite fond of the double-ridged trigger design on the Kaos 2. It means that you will be able to squeeze the trigger in a comfortable position no matter whether you have large hands or small ones. I also found that this made it easier to place two fingers on the trigger, which lets you ‘walk’ the trigger better.

At the end of the day, it is a trusty trigger system but a budget one nonetheless. Naturally, after using my custom setup which has been fine-tuned to be just right, this trigger setup felt like it was lacking in sensitivity. Of course, for a budget setup like this, it isn’t fair to compare it to my marker.

The Azodin Kaos 2, like most other budget paintball markers, is high pressure. This means that your marker is going to be running whatever pressure is coming out of your tank- usually about 750 PSI. So why does that matter?

Well, this means that you are going to use more gas per shot and have more recoil. Your marker is going to be loud and you are more likely to chop paint (break a paintball in the chamber).

While the Azodin Kaos 2 might be easier to take and maintain than similarly rated Tippmann paintball guns, Tippmanns tend to be quieter and have less recoil. It is never ideal to have a loud marker that kicks, but if you are just getting started with paintball and do not want to spend too much money just yet then the Kaos 2 is an excellent marker to choose.

Just please do not skimp on your mask. There are dangers involved in this sport and having the right protective equipment before you play a game is imperative.

The Azodin Kaos 2 is a great option for people who want to get into paintball without spending too much money.

While it may not perform like a pro-league marker, you would be crazy to expect it to for the price range. All in all, the Azodin Kaos 2 is a reliable paintball marker that you can quickly take out of the box and onto the field.
